Grey's Debates of the House of Commons now live

Dr Paul Seaward, 15 August 2005

We have now published the first part of this key source for Parliamentary history. The 'Debates of the House of Commons', compiled by Anchitell Grey, provide transcripts of debates in the House, from 1667 to 1694, and complement the briefer official record of the Journal. The remaining three volumes will appear by the end of 2005.

Calendar of Letter-books of the City of London now complete

Dr Matthew Davies, 05 August 2005

Our publication of this core source is now complete. The books contain a wealth of information on the inhabitants of London and its government, trade, crime and punishment. The eleven volumes cover the period from 1275 to 1496.
