In the Leverington section under schools it mentions that circa 1837, there was a school master and two school assistant mistresses. The reason for my interest is that in tracing my ancestry I believe that I am related to the Eliz Scrimshaw aged circa 20 in the 1841 as living in Leverington and in that household is a William Scrimshaw aged 3, who I believe is my great grandfather. The census gives Eliz occupation as School Mistress, which leads me to believe that she may have been one of the two mentioned.

My question therefore is - are there or would there be any school records still in existence that would hopefully give me a few more details about this lady?
