Question

Oct 20 2010, 19:11:05 Egleton, Rutland - the source of the name?

I visited the Papal Palace in Avignon this summer and discovered that Pierre Roger Rosiers d'Egletons was the birth name of Pope Gregory XI - it was also a name shared by at least one other in the family (a nephew of one of the Pope CLements). Today, Rosier-d'Egletons is a commune of Limousin, France. Does anyone know of a connection between these people or the place and Egleton, Rutland?
