Mandate to collate and assign to Andrew Ros, perpetual vicar of St. Madidus in the diocese of Ross, a priest, of noble race, the canonry and prebend of St. Michael in the church of Ross, value not exceeding 6l. sterling, which became void by the death of Robert Tullach (fn. 2) ; notwithstanding that he holds the said vicarage, value not exceeding 3l. sterling. To all etc. Relaxation, to be valid during twenty years only, of a year and forty days of enjoined penance to penitents who on the principal feasts of the year and those of the dedication, All Saints and St. Abb (Sancte Ebbe), the octaves of certain of them and the six days of Whitsun week; and of a hundred days to those who during the said octaves and six days visit and give alms for the repair and conservation of the chapel of St. Abb the Nun, in the diocese of St. Andrews, situate on the sea, to which a multitude resorts both from Scotland and England. Licet is. (An. and [A.] (fn. 3) de Florentia. | An. xvi. de Adria.) [Cancelled with strokes, and in the margin is the note:—Cassata quia indecenter (i.e. in the wrong Liber), et alibi decenter registrata, An. de Adria.]

A flyleaf has, in contemporary hands: 'Ciremberg,' 'Primus de prebendis vacantibus anno xiiiio. domini nostri Eugenii pape 4' and 'Conradus,' and the usual modern 'Lib. clxxxvi. fol. 313.' On the bottom edge of the volume is the usual contemporary 'Primus de prebendis vacantibus anno xiiii. Eugenii pape iiiiti.'
