Preface

The present volume includes the remainder of the Lateran Registers of Martin V, the Vatican Registers of Eugenius IV, and the Lateran Registers of the first seven years of the same pope (A.D. 1431-1437[8]). The Editor desires to acknowledge the assistance of several correspondents who have assisted him in determining doubtful points, and particularly of Dr. W. H Grattan Flood, M.R.I.A., who has looked through all the proofs and has made many suggestions upon points of Irish topography and history.
