1474. 16 Kal. Nov. (17 Oct.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 171r.)	To the abbot of St. Mary's, Monasteranenagh (de Magio), in the diocese of Limerick, and the archdeacon and chancellor of Limerick. Mandate to collate and assign to John Macclanche, perpetual beneficiary [sic] of the parish church of Adar in the diocese of Limerick, priest (lately dispensed by papal authority on account of illegitimacy, as the son of a priest, minister of the Trinitarian Order, and a married woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice with cure, in virtue of which he has been so promoted and holds the perpetual vicarage of the said church, value 12 marks sterling), the rectory of the parish church of Croma in the same diocese, of lay patronage and value 24 marks sterling, so long void, because Maurice Macthomays Ryevy Ymulcorkay held it for more than a year without being ordained priest, that its collation lapsed to the apostolic see, summoning and removing Robert Donduin, clerk, who has detained it for about six years under pretext of a presentation and institution made after the said lapse; with the necessary dispensation. 7 Kal. July. (25 June.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 289r.)	To William Hill, rector of the parish church of Newton in the diocese of Norwich, bachelor in decrees. Grant, as below. Paul II dispensed him to hold for life with the said church any other benefice, or if resigned the said church any two other benefices, with cure or otherwise incompatible, etc., and to resign or exchange them. At his recent petition, containing that at the time of the said letters he was not a bachelor in civil law, as stated therein, but in decrees, and had obtained and was holding with Newton the parish church of Eynesford in the diocese of Canterbury, although not yet for a month, and without having received any of its fruits, of which matters no mention was made in the said letters, the pope hereby grants that the said letters and dispensation shall nevertheless hold good from the date thereof.
