Newton versus Ballet.
Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of James Newton, against John Ballet and Mary his Wife Defendants;
and between the said John Ballett Plaintiff, and the said
James Newton and Charles Ballet Doctor of Physic,
Defendants, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Fifteenth Day of April, One Thousand Six
Hundred Ninety-two; and praying the Reversal of
the said Decree:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Ballet
and Mary his Wife may have a Copy of the said Petition;
and be, and they are hereby, required to put in their
Answer or respective Answers thereunto, in Writing,
on Thursday the Seventeenth Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
E. of Bath & al. versus E. of Mountague, for Waiver of Privilege.
The House being this Day moved, on the Behalf of
the Earl of Montague, "That the Matters referred to
the Lords Committees for Privileges concerning him
and the Earl of Bathe may be put off for some Time,
his Counsel not being able to attend at the Time
appointed;" the Earl of Bathe consenting thereunto:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That that Business shall be,
and is hereby, put off until Monday the One and Twentieth Day of this Instant November, at Four of the
Clock in the Afternoon; to be then peremptorily

this Occasion, and Mr. Aaron Smith examined upon
Oath at the Bar of this House, the Committee following was ordered.
