Act for Confirmation of the Charters, Liberties, and
Privileges, of the University of Oxford."
Leach versus Thompson, in Error.
Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Thompson; shewing, "That Sir Symon Leach Knight of the Bath brought
a Writ of Error into this House the Twelfth of April
last, and hath assigned only the general Error, to
which the Petitioner hath joined Issue; and praying
a short Day for hearing the Errors argued thereupon:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear
the said Errors argued, upon the said Writ of Error, on
Friday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant December, at
Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Newton versus Ballet.
Upon hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon
the Petition and Appeal of James Newton, from a Decree
made in the Court of Chancery, the Fifteenth Day of
April, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-two, on the
Behalf of John Ballet and Mary his Wife; as also
upon the Answer of the said John Ballett and Mary his
Wife put in thereunto:
After due Consideration had of what was offered by
Counsel on either Side thereupon, it is this Day ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the said Decree from which
the said James Newton appealed to this House, made
on the Behalf of John Ballet and Mary his Wife, shall
be, and is hereby, affirmed.
Advice to His Majesty.
Whereas this Day was appointed for the House to be
put into a Committee, to consider of Advice to be given
to His Majesty:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put
into a Committee, to proceed thereon, on Tuesday next,
at Twelve of the Clock; and no other Business to intervene.
