King and Davis discharged.
Upon reading the humble Petion of Joseph King and
John Davis; shewing, "That they are now in Custody
of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, for arresting John Poole, a menial Servant of his Grace
the Duke of South'ton; for which they are heartily
sorry, and humbly beg Pardon for the same;" they
being sent for to the Bar, and reprimanded for their
Offence, and having asked the Pardon of the House and
his Grace:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the said Joseph King and
John Davis shall be, and they are hereby, discharged
from the Restraint they now lie under; and this shall
be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.
