Upon reading the Petition of Sarah Bayly, Executrix
of Edward Bayly deceased; praying, "That a Day
may be appointed for hearing Counsel upon her
Petition, to which Anne Robson and others have put
in their Answer:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will
hear Counsel upon the said Petition and Answer on Monday the Eleventh Day of this Instant December, at Ten

Upon reading the Petition of John Slater (John
Mascall's Clerk in Chancery, Respondent to the Petition of John Boswell); shewing, "That he was served
with an Order for answering to the Petition of John
Boswell the Second Instant, which cannot possibly be,
by reason the Respondent lives Seventy Miles from
London, and his Writings are in the Country; and
praying that the Respondent may have further Time

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put
into a Committee, to consider of the said Bill.
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was
resumed.
And the Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported, "That
the Committee had made some Progress there
in; and desire another Day may be appointed, for
the House to be put into a Committee, to proceed
thereon."

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act touching
free and impartial Proceedings in Parliament;" to
which they desire their Lordships Concurrence.
Wade versus Skipwith, in Error.
This Day being appointed for hearing Counsel, to
argue the Errors upon the Writ of Error brought into
this House 3° Martii, One Thousand Six Hundred
Ninety-two, wherein Thomas Skipwith is Plaintiff, and
Charles Wade Defendant; the Counsel for the Plaintiff
alledged, "That they had an Interest when the Writ
of Error was brought; but, their Lease being now
expired, they did not think fit to proceed."
It is thereupon ORDERED and Adjudged, by the
Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled,
That the Judgement given in Their Majesties Court of
King's Bench, on the Behalf of Charles Wade, shall
be, and is hereby, affirmed; and that the Record
thereof be remitted: And it is further ORDERED,
That the said Thomas Skipwith shall pay, or cause to be
paid, unto the said Charles Wade, the Sum of Ten
Pounds, for his Costs in defending the said Writ of Error in this House.
The Tenor of which Judgement, to be affixed to
the Record to be transmitted, is as followeth;
