PRAYERS.
Williams, concerning the Bill to produce the Person of Sir P. Pindar.
Upon reading the Petition of Edward Williams:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That Ellis Hughs, and John
Wynne, do attend this House on Friday the Eighteenth
Day of this Instant January, as Witnesses on the Behalf
of Edward Williams, in relation to a Bill depending in
this House, intituled, "An Act to compel Edward
Williams and William Williams Esquires to bring forth
the Person of Sir Paul Pindar Baronet."
Trials for Treason, for regulating, Bill.
The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put
into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act
for regulating of Trials in Cases of High Treason,
and Misprision of Treason."
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was
resumed.
And the Lord Cornwallis reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire
another Day may be appointed, to proceed upon the
further Consideration thereof."
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That this House shall be put
into a Committee again, to proceed on the Bill, intituled,
"An Act for regulating of Trials, in Cases of High
Treason and Misprision of Treason," on Monday the
Fourteenth Day of this Instant January, at Eleven of
the Clock.
