27. BROADFIELD.

Secular
(1). The Stables at Broadfield Hall, about
two miles N.E. of Cottered Church, consist of a
red brick rectangular building of considerable
height, built probably c. 1700. Broadfield Hall
is modern.
Condition—Good.
(2). Foxholes Farm, about 1½ miles N.E. of
Cottered Church, built probably c. 1700, has
been much repaired.
Condition—Fairly good.
