his Highness, from this House, to enquire of his Health.

D. of York's Thanks to the House.
The Earl of Petriburgh gave the House this Account:
That he and the other Lords appointed to wait upon
the Duke of Yorke have attended his Highness; and
they found him in his Bed, in a Sweat; and his
Highness returns their Lordships Thanks for the Visit,
and says, as soon as he is well, he will come to this
House again."
E. of Denbigh versus Insley, for exhibiting a Libel to the King against him.
Next, Thomas Insley was brought to the Bar, according to the Order of Summons Yesterday, to answer the
Complaint of the Earl of Denbigh.
And he confessed, "That he preferred a Petition to
the King against the Earl of Denbigh."
Then Anthony Gore, upon Oath, averred, "That the
Paper of Complaint brought in by the Earl of Denbigh was a true Copy of the original Petition which
was exhibited to the King, against the Earl of Denbigh."
The Copy of the Petition was read, in the Presence
of the said Insley; who being asked what he had to
say touching the Scandal against the Earl of Denbigh,
expressed in the Petition, he said, "That, if he might
have Liberty to take his Oath, he could swear that,
and a great deal more."
Whereupon he was commanded to withdraw.
Then the Earl of Denbigh desired of the House, the
said Insley might have Liberty to say what he would.
But the House, upon Consideration hereof, ORDERED,
That the said Thomas, Insley should be called in again,
and receive the Reprehension of this House, for his
scandalous and saucy Expressions towards the Earl of
Denbigh; and enjoined him to ask his Lordship Forgiveness for the Injury done to him thereby.
And the said Insley being called in again, the Lord
Keeper, in the Name of the House, gave him a sharp
Reprehension for his said Offence; which the said Insley
submitted to.
ORDERED, That the Earl of Bristol and the Earl of
Norwich be added to the Committee for the Bill concerning preventing Abuses in granting Writs of Certiorari.

D. of Bucks, Privilege: Burnham, Carter, & al. sent for, for arresting Mangy, his Servant.
Whereas Mr. Thomas Burnham, Mr. Richard Carter,
Mr. John Paynton, Thomas Warland, and Daniell Prince,
of the City of Oxford, were, by Order of this House,
dated the 12th Day of December, 1666, summoned to
appear at the Bar, on the 19th Day of the said December, for arresting George Mangy, menial Servant to the
Duke of Bucks, in the Beginning of November, 1665,
within the Time of Privilege of Parliament; who, accordingly attending the Pleasure of the House, did, upon
the 20th Day of the said December, give their respective Bonds of Twenty Pounds apiece to the Clerk of the
Parliaments, conditioned for their personal appearing
at the Bar of this House within Six Days next after
Summons to that Purpose shall be given to them respectively, or left at their respective Dwelling Houses within
the said City of Oxford:
It is this Day ORDERED, That the said Thomas Burnham, Richard Carter, John Paynton, Thomas Warland,
and Daniell Prince, shall appear at the Bar of this House
within Six Days after Notice of this Order left as
aforesaid: And hereof they may not fail.
