ORDERED, That the Committee for Sir Charles Stanley's Bill do meet on Monday Morning next, at Nine of the Clock.

Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Earl of Ancram and others; who brought up a Bill, passed by the House of Commons, intituled, "An Act for the Taxing and Assessing of the Lands of the Adventurers within the Great Level of the Fens;" to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

ORDERED, That the Earl of Clarendon's Answer to the Petition of Henry Petitt shall be read on Monday Morning next.

Bill for taxing Adventurers in the Fens.

ORDERED, That the Bill concerning taxing the Adventurers Lands within the Great Level of the Fens, shall be read the next Sitting of this House.

Woollen Cloth Bill, rejected.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the better regulating of the Manufacture of Broad Woollen Cloth of the new Drapery in the Counties of Somersett, Wilts, and Gloucester."

ORDERED, That this Bill is rejected.

Committee to inspect Laws' concerning the Woollen Manufacture.

Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Laws now in Force concerning the Woollen Manufacture of this Nation; and if they find them not effectual enough to prevent the Deceits and Abuses practised therein, then to propose such Remedies by a new Law as their Lordships shall think fit; and if the Laws already in Force be sufficient, but want due Execution, then to offer such Expedients for the more quick and due Execution of them as they shall judge meet for that Purpose; and their Lordships have Power to send for Persons and Papers, and are to have the Assistance of such of the Judges, and the King's Learned Counsel, as they shall appoint:

Trial of Peers, Bill.

ORDERED, That the Lord Chief Baron of the Court of Exchequer, Justice Browne, and Justice Twisden, are hereby appointed to be Assistants to the Lords Committees, to whose Consideration the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Regulating of the Trial of the Peers of England," stands committed, To-morrow, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings.

The Question being put, "Whether this House shall be adjourned till To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

E. of Dorset, Privilege. Brookes, his Servant, arrested.

Upon Complaint made to this House, "That Jane Brookes, Servant to the Earl of Dorsett, was arrested, at the Suit of Edward Freeman, in August last, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament:"

It is ORDERED, That the Examination of this Business be referred to the Lords Committees for Privileges, who are to report their Opinion thereupon unto this House.

Adjourn.
