A Message was brought from the House of Commons,
by the Earl of Ancram and others; who brought up a
Bill, passed by the House of Commons, intituled, "An
Act for the Taxing and Assessing of the Lands of the
Adventurers within the Great Level of the Fens;"
to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.
ORDERED, That the Earl of Clarendon's Answer to
the Petition of Henry Petitt shall be read on Monday
Bill for taxing Adventurers in the Fens.
ORDERED, That the Bill concerning taxing the Adventurers Lands within the Great Level of the Fens,
shall be read the next Sitting of this House.

Committee to inspect Laws' concerning the Woollen Manufacture.
Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Laws
now in Force concerning the Woollen Manufacture
of this Nation; and if they find them not effectual
enough to prevent the Deceits and Abuses practised
therein, then to propose such Remedies by a new
Law as their Lordships shall think fit; and if the
Laws already in Force be sufficient, but want due
Execution, then to offer such Expedients for the
more quick and due Execution of them as they
shall judge meet for that Purpose; and their Lordships have Power to send for Persons and Papers,
and are to have the Assistance of such of the Judges,
and the King's Learned Counsel, as they shall appoint:

Upon Complaint made to this House, "That Jane
Brookes, Servant to the Earl of Dorsett, was arrested,
at the Suit of Edward Freeman, in August last, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament:"
