A small part of Ecton parish, 50 hectares in area, lies within the boundary of Northampton. For the remainder of the parish, see RCHM Northamptoshire II, 47–51.

Prehistoric

(1) Pleistocene Remains, Palaeolithic Artefacts (c. SP 822614), S. of Ecton Sewage Works. This site straddles the Great Billing/Ecton boundary. For further details, see Great Billing (1).
