Houses to attend the King with the Petition against Popery.
The Lord Steward and the Lord Chamberlain acquainted the House, "That they had (according to their
Lordships Command Yesterday) attended His Majesty,
to know what Time His Majesty would please to appoint both Houses to attend Him, to present the Petition against the Growth of Popery; and His Majesty's
Pleasure is, That both Houses do attend Him, in the
Banqueting House at Whitehall, on Monday Morning
next, at Nine of the Clock."
Message to H. C. about it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir
Nathaniell Hobart and Sir Andrew Hacket:
To let them know, that His Majesty's Pleasure is,
That both Houses do attend Him, in the Banqueting
House at Whitehall, on Monday Morning next, at Nine
of the Clock, to present Him with the Petition against
the Growth of Popery."

Bill to prevent stealing Children, &c.
ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill to prevent taking up of Children by Spirits, &c. do meet on
Tuesday Morning next; and the Earl of Sandwich is
added to that Committee.
Sequestrations in Chancery.
ORDERED, That the Earl of Berks do make Report
from the Committee of Privileges, concerning Sequestrations upon Estates out of Chancery, on Wednesday
Morning next.
The Bishop of Oxon is added to the Committee for
the Bill concerning Mr. Yelverton.
The Earl of Derby is added to the Committee for the
Bill to prohibit importing of Foreign Brandy.

The Petition of the Lady Marq. of Worcester to be
read on Monday Morning next.
Cusack and Usher, in Error.
ORDERED, That on Tuesday Morning next, Counsel
shall be heard at Bar, to argue the Writ of Errors between Cusack and Usher; and also between Edmond's
and the King.
Burrel versus Ellis.
Upon hearing of Counsel on both Parts, at the Bar,
upon the Petition of Rebecca Burrell Widow, Relict of
Redman Burrell deceased, being an Appeal from a Dismission of her Bill in Chancery, concerning an Annuity
or Rent Charge of Two Hundred Pounds per Annum for
her Jointure, and afterwards purchased by William Ellis
Esquire, now Serjeant at Law; and also upon the Answer of the said William Ellis put in thereunto:
After due Consideration had of what hath been offered on either Side in the said Cause, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled do resolve
and adjudge, That the said Petition of the said Rebecca
Burrell be dismissed this House.
Hobert admitted a Pauper.
Upon Report made by the Earl of Dorset, from the
Committee for Petitions, "That one Anthony Hobert
hath a Petition depending before their Lordships,
who, being poor and a Prisoner in The Fleete, prays
he may be admitted to sue in Forma Pauperis, as in
other Courts:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Anthony Hobert be admitted to prosecute his said Petition in Forma
Pauperis; and that Mr. Ayliffe, Counsellor at Law; is
hereby assigned to be of Counsel for him upon the said
Petition.
