Fire of London Judicature Bill.
The Lord Berkeley of Stratton reported, "That the
Committee have considered of the Bill for reviving
the Judicature of Differences, &c. and have received
the Consent of all Parties therein concerned; therefore think it fit to pass as it is."

ORDERED, That the Lords Committees for Privileges shall sit To-morrow in the Afternoon, at Three of

the Elder Countess Dowager of Northumberland, and
the Answer of James Percy put in thereunto.
Address to the King, to encourage English Manufactures.
The Earl of Aylsebury reported, "That the Committee had prepared the Draught of an humble Address to be presented to His Majesty, from both
Houses of Parliament, concerning the wearing of
English Manufactures; which was offered to the Consideration of this House."
Which Address was read, and approved of; and ordered to be communicated to the House of Commons,
for their Concurrence.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir
John Coell and Sir Will. Beversham:
To deliver the Address to be presented to His Majesty
concerning English Manufactures, and to desire their
Concurrence thereunto.
Also to let them know, that this House hath passed
the Act for the re-building the Navy-office.
Writs of Error brought in.
The Lord Chief Justice of the Court of King's Bench,
in the usual Way and Form, brought into this House
Two Writs of Error, upon Judgement given in the
King's Bench; in the one, Wm. Prettyman is Plaintiff, and
Mary Coddrington Defendant; in the other, Richard
Dawson is Plaintiff and John Jefferson is Desendant.
Dr. Salmon versus Hamb. Comp.
The Earl of Aylsebury reported, "That the Lords
Committees as are appointed to hear the Creditors of
the Hambrough Company have met, and Notice were
given to both Parties, the Petitioners attended with
their Counsel; but nobody appearing from the
Hambrough Company, nor Mr. Dogget, nor Mr. Wynn;
and Mr. Harris, who was Solicitor at the Hearing at
the Bar for the said Dogget and Wynn, now saying,
"That he is discharged by them, and not at all employed by them now;" upon this, the Committee desires the Direction of the House therein:"
It is ORDERED, That the Debate of this Business is
adjourned till To-morrow Morning.
Hallet versus Kendall.
Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Mary Hallett Widow, the Relict of John Hallet deceased, and
Johanna Hallett, One of the Daughters and Coheirs of
the said John Hallett, an Insant about Twelve Years
old; complaining of a Decree made in the Court of
Chancery on the 24th Day of January last, on the Behalf of Thomas Kendall Esquire and Mary his Wife,
concerning the Manor of Killingarth, in the County of
Cornwall, and praying the Stay of all Proceedings upon
the said Decree till the said Cause be heard in this
House:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the said Thomas Kendall
and Mary his Wife may have a Copy of the said Petition and Appeal; and are hereby required to put in
an Answer thereunto in Writing, at the Bar of this
House, on the Second Tuesday of the Meeting of the
Parliament next after the Recess now at Hand.

Whereas this Day was appointed for giving Judgement upon the Claim of Precedency claimed by the Lord

ready with their Counsel to attend the Pleasure of the

doth hereby appoint the Second Thursday of the Sitting

ORDERED, That the Petition of Mary Rowell, Dorotby Man, and divers other Persons, Creditors of the
Wardens and Commonalty of the Company of Grocers,
this Day presented to this House, be, and is hereby,
referred to the Lords Committees appointed to speak
with the said Company and their Creditors, in order to
the Payment of the just Debts owing by the said Company, to the End that the said Mary Rowell, Dorothy
Man, and others, Petitioners, may be considered together with the other Creditors now before their

a Bill, intituled, "An Act for raising the Sum of Twelve
Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred and
Fifty Pounds, for Supply of His Majesty's extraordinary Occasions;" to which their Lordships Concurrence is desired.

The Messengers return with this Answer from the
House of Commons:
That they agree to the Address to be presented to
His Majesty, concerning the wearing of English Manufactures.
The Tenor of which Address is as followeth:
Address to the King, to encourage English Manufactures:
"We, Your Majesty's most loyal and dutiful Subjects, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal and Commons
in Parliament assembled, do humbly beseech Your
Majesty, That You will be graciously pleased, by
Your own Example, to encourage the constant Wearing of the Manufactures of Your own Kingdoms and
Dominions, and to discountenance such Persons (Men
or Women in Your Court) as shall wear any Manufactures made in Foreign Countries."
King to be attended with it.
The Lord Treasurer, the Lord Steward, and the Lord
Chamberlain, Lord Maynard, and Lord Newport, were
appointed to attend His Majesty, to know what Time
His Majesty will be pleased to appoint the Committees
of both Houses to wait upon Him for that Purpose.

into further Consideration the Bill for Ease of Dissenters.
The House was resumed.
The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee of the whole House have proceeded further
in the Consideration of the Bill for Ease of Dissenters; but the Committee desired the House would
appoint another Time for the Committee of the whole
House to sit again."
It is ORDERED, That the whole House shall be adjourned into a Committee To-morrow Morning, at Nine
of the Clock, to consider further of this Bill.
