Message from H. C. with a Bill.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons,
by Sir John Holt Knight and others:
Who said, "He was commanded, by the Commons,
to present their Lordships with a Bill, intituled, An
Act for reviving of Actions and Process lately depending at Westminster, and discontinued by the not
holding of Hillary Terme, and for supplying other
Defects relating to Proceedings at Law;" to which
their Lordships Concurrence is desired.
Message to them, to remind them of one.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by
Sir Robert Atkins and Serjeant Levins:
To put them in Mind of a Bill formerly sent down to
them, for the better Regulation of Trials.
E. of Gainsborougli excused.
John Jefferyes and John Prignell, upon Oath, attested
at the Bar, "That the Earl of Gaynsboroug' is so indisposed with Sickness, that they believe that his
Lordship is not in a Condition to attend this House."
Whereupon he is excused.

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is
committed to a Committee of the whole House.
Bill for abrogating the Oaths.
Then the House was put into a Committee, to proceed in the Consideration of the Bill, which begun in
this House, for abrogating the Oaths of Allegiance
and Supremacy.
The House being resumed;
The Lord Viscount Fauconberg reported, "That the
Opinion of the Committee of the whole House was,
That, for the better Expedition of this Bill, it should
be committed to a Select Committee."
Which the House agreed to; and committed it to the
same as was formerly; who are to meet To-morrow
Morning, at Nine a Clock, in the Prince's Lodgings.
