enable John Lewin to sell certain Messuages in Southwarke, for Payment of Debts."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall

This Day Edward Lord Dudley and Ward took the
Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes, upon his first Sitting in Parliament as Lord Dudley, after the Death of Lord Dudley
his Grandfather.
Farrington's Bill.
The Lord Ferrers reported from the Committee, the
Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees, to be
sold, certain Lands of George Farington Esquire, lying
in the Counties of Middl'x and Surrey, settled upon
the Marriage of William Farington his Nephew; and,
with the Money arising thereby, for purchasing of
other Lands in Lancashire, where the ancient Estate
of the Family lies, to be settled to the same Uses,"
as fit to pass, with some Amendments.
Which, being read Twice, were agreed to; and the
Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.
Deer versus Gibbon;
After hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon
the Petition of Edward Deere; complaining, amongst
other Things, of some Proceedings of William Gibbon,
since the Judgement of this House upon his Appeal:
Petition dismissed.
It is this Day ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords
Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That
the said Petition of Edward Deere shall be, and is
hereby, dismissed this House.
