The House being this Day moved, "That the Countess Dowager of Newport's Petition, which stands referred to the Lords Committees for Privileges, may be now examined at the Bar:"

And Anne Harding and David Lloyd being called in, sworn, and examined, to the Truth of the Allegations in the Petition; the following Order was made:

Upon Oath made, at the Bar of this House, "That Susannah Countess Dowager of Newport was, on Monday the Nineteenth Day of February last, arrested, by Thomas Wagstaffe and Thomas Fitzwalter, contrary to the Privilege of Peerage:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, his Deputy or Deputies, do forthwith attach the Bodies of the said Thomas Wagstaffe and Thomas Fitzwalter, and bring them in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, to answer for their Offence; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

After the Examinations taken Yesterday, relating to the Duke and Dutchess of Norfolke, were read to the Witnesses, and they signing them; the Dutchess's Counsel moved, "To have Copies of the Depositions taken on either Side."

And, being withdrawn, the following Orders were made; (videlicet,)

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Copies of the Examinations read, and signed by the Witnesses, Yesterday and this Day, be delivered to either Side."
