Knight and Baronet; and for settling and disposing
other the Lands of the said Sir John Clarke and Dame
Philadelphia his Wife.

It is ORDERED, To be referred to the Consideration

Message from H. C. with a Bill;--and to sit P. M.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Lord of Valencia, &c.; who brought up
a Bill for further supplying and explaining certain Defects in an Act, intituled, "An Act for the speedy
Provision of Money, for disbanding and paying off
the Forces of this Kingdom, both by Land and Sea."
2. To desire their Lordships would sit this Afternoon, in respect of the Shortness of the Time and the
Weight of Business.
Answer.
The Answer returned was:
That, in order to Dispatch of the great Businesses
depending, their Lordships have ordered several Committees to meet this Afternoon; and therefore think it
convenient not to sit this Afternoon as a House. Any
other Time, they will sit if they shall desire it.
Edney, Crofts, and Ogden, to be attached for Contempt.
Upon Information, and the Oath of Jonathan Hickes,
at this Bar, "That Mrs. Edney, Crofts, and Ogden an
Attorney, did slight the Order of this House made
Yesterday, and spoke slighting and contemptuous
Words against their Lordships."
It is ORDERED, That the said (fn. *)
Edlyn, Crofts, and
Ogden, shall be attached as Delinquents, (fn. †) and brought
before this House To-morrow Morning.
College Leases Bill.
ORDERED, That the Report of the Bill for College
Leases shall be the First Business To-morrow Morning.
Collection for Ogilby, for printing a Bible.
ORDERED, That Doctor Hodges shall attend the
Lords, to receive from them such voluntary Contributions as their Lordships shall give to Mr. Ogleby,
in Recompence of his great Pains and Charge he hath
been at in printing a Bible, which he hath presented
and dedicated to this House.
