holding of the Parliament or of the Terms there."
Peers Evidences, concerning Advowsons, &c.
Whereas divers Deeds, Evidences, and Writings,
concerning Advowsons and Rectories Impropriate, belonging to several Peers of this Kingdom, were taken
from them, for their Loyalty in adhering to His Majesty
in the late Troubles, and are now in the Custody of the
Clerk of the House of Commons:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Tempoporal in Parliament assembled, That a Message be sent
to the House of Commons, to desire that all such Deeds,
Evidences, and Writings, may forthwith be delivered
into the Possession of the Clerk of the House of Peers,
to the End they may be restored to the several and particular Lords to whom they properly belong, according
to an Act of Parliament lately passed, intituled, "An
Act for restoring of all such Advowsons, Rectories
Impropriate, Glebe Lands, and Tithes, to His Majesty's loyal Subjects as were taken from them, and
making void certain Charges imposed on them, upon
their Compositions for Delinquency, by the late
usurped Powers."
