PRAYERS.
Lord Lempster takes the Oaths.
This Day William Lord Lempster took the Oaths,
and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to
the Statute.
Thwaites versus Deye.
Upon reading the Petition of John Deye, Respondent
to the Appeal of Josiah Thwaits; setting forth, "That
he had obtained a Verdict in the Court of Exchequer,
upon a Trial directed by their Lordships the last Session
of Parliament; and praying the Affirmation of a Decree
made in this Cause in the said Court of Exchequer several Years since, and to have the Monies due to him
with Interest and Costs; and that, until Payment
thereof, the Appellant may be excluded the Benefit of
the Will of his Grandfather William Thwaits:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Josiah Thwaits may
have a Copy of the said Petition; and do put in his
Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Thursday the Twelfth
Day of February next, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.
Lee, Leave for a Bill.
Upon reading the Petition of Warner Lee an Infant,
and Henry Lee his Father; praying Leave to bring in a
Bill, to enable the said Warner Lee to make a Jointure of
certain Manors and Lands in the County of Norfolke,
all Parties concerned being consenting thereunto:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have
hereby Leave given them to bring in a Bill, as desired.
