Bedfont Road Bill.
The Earl of Shaftesbury reported from the Lords
Committees to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for
more effectually repairing the Road from the Powder
Mills on Hounslow Heath, in the County of Middlesex,
to the Twenty Milestone on Egham Hill, in the
County of Surrey," was committed; "That they had
considered the said Bill, and examined the Allegations
thereof, which were found to be true; and that the
Committee had gone through the Bill, and directed
him to report the same to the House, without any
Amendment."
Attornies, & Certificates, Petition of Procurators, Perthshire, for Repeal of Duties on.
Upon reading the Petition of the Members of the
Society of Procurators practising before the Courts of
Law in Perthshire, whose Names are thereunto subscribed; praying their Lordships "to repeal the Duties
chargeable on Certificates granted to Solicitors, Attornies, Notaries, Agents and Procurators in Scotland:"

Coals carried Coastwise, Petitions from Ward of Bridge, London, & Bristol, for Repeal of Duty on.
Upon reading the Petition of the Inhabitants of the
Ward of Bridge, in the City of London, whose Names
are thereunto subscribed; praying their Lordships, "That
the Tax on Coals imported into the Port of London
may be repealed, or that such other Relief may be
granted, as the Wisdom of their Lordships shall deem
just and equitable:"

Upon reading, the Petition of the Inhabitants of the
City of Bristol and its Neighbourhood, whose Names are
thereunto subscribed; praying, "That their Lordships will
enquire into and consider the partial and injurious
Operation of the Coastwise Duty on Coal, as it affects
the Consumers of the City of Bristol and its Neighbourhood, to the end that such Alterations may be
made and such Relief afforded as to their Lordships
may seem meet:"

Upon reading the Petition of the Deputy Mayor,
Bailiffs, Burgesses and other Inhabitants of the Borough
of Carnarvon, whose Names are thereunto subscribed;
praying their Lordships "for a Repeal of the Duty on
Slates quarried in the Principality of Wales, on being
taken Coastwise to any of the English Markets:"
