Raleigh's Restitution.

L. 3a. An Act for Restitution in Blood of Carey Raleigh, Son of Sir Walter Raleigh, Knight, late attainted of High Treason; and -

Counsel for the Earl of Corke heard at the Bar, the Earl sitting upon a Stool within the Bar.

Serjeant Crawley, for the Earl: - That this Bill hath a Clause more than his former Bills had.

A Proviso, ingrossed in Parchment, tendered to this Bill, thrice read. -

Impositions.

Mr. Serjeant Davenport and Serjeant Ayloffe bring down from the Lords a Message; that his Majesty hath caused, in his Presence, both the Commission, and Warrant, for the Raising of Money, by Imposition, or otherwise, to be cancelled. That the Lords have sent them cancelled, to be viewed, and recorded, here, and then to be returned to their Lordships by the same Messengers. - Which done accordingly: And this ordered to be recorded here accordingly : And Sir Edw Coke, Sir Nath. Rich, Sir Jo. Ellyott, Mr. Littleton, and Mr. Selden, and Sir Ro. Phillippes, to take Care of the Entry thereof. This to be done at Two of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Court of Wards. - Both bear Date ultimo Febr. last -

Raleigh's Restitution.

Upon Question, this Proviso to be received, and added to the Bill. Upon Question, the Bill, with the several Provisoes, passed.

Grievances.

Upon Question, the Imposition of every Quarter of Malt, brewed within London, and Four Miles, a Grievance, both in the Creation, and Execution; and the former Committee to present this with other Grievances.

The grand Committee, for Tonage and Poundage, to sit this Afternoon, Two Clock, in the House. Mr. Bankes in the Chair.
