RESOLVED, That the Door be shut till Twelve
of Clock.
Representative in Parliament.
The House, according to former Order, did this Day
take into Debate concerning an equal Representative in
Parliament.
Resolved, That this Debate be adjourned till this Day
Seven-night.
Ordered, That Mr. Say do, on that Day, make the
Report from the grand Committee, the first Business:
And that then the House do take into Consideration the
said Report, and the whole Business now in Debate.
Fast-Day.
Resolved, That Tuesday next be set apart, as a Day of
Humiliation, to be kept in this House, for the Parliament to seek from Almighty God Counsel and Assistance
for making a right Improvement of the great Mercies
He hath shewed to this Nation, and doing those things
which may most conduce to His Glory, and the Settlement and Good of this Commonwealth: And that Mr.
Lockyer, and Mr. Carill be desired to assist in carrying
on the Work of that Day.
Ordered, That the Lord General give Notice thereof
to Mr. Carill; and that Mr. Alderman Allein give Notice thereof to Mr. Lockyer, accordingly.
