Prayers.
Ambassy from Holland.
THE House, according to former Order, took into
Debate the Report from the Council of State, of
the Papers delivered in to the said Council, by the Lords
Ambassadors Extraordinary from the States General of
the United Provinces.
Resolved, That it be referred to the Council of State,
to treat with the Lords Ambassadors Extraordinary from
the High and Mighty Lords the States General of the
United Provinces.
Resolved, That Sir Oliver Fleming, Master of the Ceremonies, do communicate to the Lords Ambassadors
Extraordinary of the States General of the United Provinces, this Resolution of the Parliament, by delivering
unto their Lordships a Copy thereof.
Letter read.
A Letter from the Lords the States General of the
United Provinces of the Low Countries, dated at the
Hague the 15th of December 1651, was this Day read.
Resolved, That this Letter be referred to the Council
of State:
Transactions with Spaine.
The House, according to former Order, took into
Consideration the Report from the Council of State, of
the Papers delivered in to the Council, from the Lord
Ambassador from the King of Spaine.
The first Paper being read;
Resolved, That this Paper be referred back to the
Council of State, and that they be injoined to insist with
the Lord Ambassador from the King of Spaine, on the
Demand of Justice, for the Murder of Mr. Ascham, the
Parliament's Agent to the said King.
