Selby's Petition.

THE humble Petition of Ralph Selby, Fellmonger to the late King, was this Day read.

Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Committee of the Navy, to examine and state the Business; and report their Opinion therein to the Parliament.

Delinquents Estates.

Ordered, That, it be referred to the Committee of the Navy; and that they be impowered to receive Petitions presented touching Discoveries; and to examine and state the Businesses, and report them to the Parliament, and what Allowance is fit to be given out of the same to the Discoverers.

Alderman Allein reports from the Committee appointed to consider of the Names of Persons to be inserted into the Bill for Sale of their Estates:

Resolved, by the Parliament, That the Name of Peter Gifford, of Chillington, in the County of Stafford, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

Resolved, That the Name of Walter Fowler, of St. Thomas, in the County of Stafford, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

Resolved, That the Name of Thomas Brooke, of Madeley, in the County of Stafford, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

Resolved, That the Name of John Weston, of Maze, in the County of Surrey, Esquire, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

The humble Petition of Philip Hungate, of Saxton, in the County of York, Esquire, was this Day read.

Resolved, That the Name of Philip Hungate, of Saxten, in the County of York, Esquire, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

Resolved, That the Name of Robert Doleman, of Badsworth, in the County of York, be inserted into a Bill; and his Lands sold for the Use of the Navy.

A Certificate, from the Commissioners for Compounding, certifying, that Wm. Langdale, of Lanthrop, in the County of York, Esquire, was never sequestered as a Delinquent, but only for Recusancy, was this Day read.

The Question being put, That the Name of Wm. Langdale, of Lanthorpe, in the County of York, be inserted into a Bill, for his Estate to be sold, for the Use of the Navy;

It passed with the Negative.

The humble Petition of Francis Biddulph, of Biddulph, was this Day read.

Resolved, That the Name of Francis Biddulph, of Biddulph, in the County of York, Esquire, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

The Question being put, That the Name of Henry Lord Arundell, of Wardour, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy;

It passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That the Name of Philip Anne, of Burwallis, in the County of York, Esquire, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

Resolved, That the Name of Sir Walter Vavesor, of Haslewood, in the County of York, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

Resolved, That the Name of Wm. Middleton, of Stockhill, in the County of York, Esquire, be inserted into a Bill; and his Estate sold, for the Use of the Navy.

Resolved, That a Bill be brought in, for Sale of the Lands of these Eight-and-twenty Persons, for the Use of the Navy; viz. William Lord Craven, Thomas Coke Esquire, John Forcer, Sir Francis Howard, Ralph Pudsey, Robert Blundell, Thomas Clifton, Lord Morly and Monteagle, Richard Massey, Edward Scasebrook, Charles Townely, George Smyth, John Jones, Launcelot Errington, Nicholas Errington, Henry Errington, John Lawson, Sir Edward Ratcliff, Peter Gifford, Walter Fowler, Thomas Brooke, John Weston, Philip Hungate, Robert Dolman, Francis Biddulph, Philip Anne, Sir Walter Vavasor, Wm. Middleton.

Resolved, That it be referred to the same Committee, that brought in this Report, to prepare an Act, upon the Debate of the House; and to bring it in To-morrow Morning: And that Mr. Sey and Colonel Waite be added to that Committee.

Resolved, That the same Committee have Power to consider, whether Charles Townley, and Sir Francis Howard, named in the List now reported, be the same Persons, whose Estates are exposed to Sale in the former Bill; and also, to supply the Bill with other Names, not exceeding the Number of Thirty.
