Prayers.
Preservation of Timber.
ORDERED, That the Informations which have
been given to the Council of State, touching Wastes
and Spoils committed in the Forests, or otherwise, in the
Timber and Woods belonging to the Commonwealth, be
transmitted to the Committee appointed to consider of the
Improvement of Parks: And that the same Powers,
which were formerly in the Council of State, as to the
Preservation of Timber and Woods, be transferred to
that Committee; who have Power to receive and examine
all Informations that are or shall be given touching that
Business: And to take Care for the Preservation of the
Timber and Woods, for the future; and to send for Persons
and Witnesses: And Mr. Lechmere and Mr. Aldworth,
are added to that Committee.
Charge of the Forces.
The House this Day resumed the Debate upon the
Report made Yesterday, touching the Charge of the
Forces in England, Scotland, and Ireland.
Resolved, That the House do sit To-morrow and
Monday, only for this Time, notwithstanding the former
Order.
Ordered, That this Debate be adjourned till To-morrow
Morning; to be resumed the first Business; nothing to
intervene.
