Correspondence with Norway.
MR. Lawrence reports from the Council of State,
Letters of Safeguard to the Prince Frederick, Heir
of Norway, Duke of Sletia, Holstein, &c.: Which were
now read in Latin and English, and agreed; and Mr.
Speaker ordered to sign the same; and that it be sealed
with the Seal of the Parliament.
Presentations to Benefices.
Ordered, That the Bill touching taking away the Right
of Patrons to present, be read on Tuesday Morning next,
the first Business; nothing to intervene.
Person to be examined.
Ordered, That Sir Wm. Roberts and Mr. Squib, do
withdraw; and examine the Person who stood at the
Door with a naked Knife.
Excise.
Resolved, That there be a Bill brought in for continuing the Duty of Excise, according to the Rates already
voted, for a time: And the same Committee are to do
That who brought in the former Bill.
