of Sheriffs be taken up on Monday Morning next.
Isle of Jersey.
Ordered, That the Report touching the Isle of Jersey
be made, the first Business, on Tuesday next, peremptorily.
Army.
Ordered, That the Report, touching the disbanding the
Horse in Nottinghamshire, be taken up on Wednesday
Morning next.
Message to Lords.
Ordered, That Mr. Ashhurst do carry to the Lords,
the late Votes touching Lancashire, and the Votes passed
on Saturday last, touching the Horse Guards that attend
the Houses.
Plymouth Garison.
A Letter from Colonel Ralph Weldon, Governor of
Plymouth, of 20 Octobris 1648, representing the great
Wants and Extremities of that Garison, was this Day
read.
Ordered, That the Committee of the Army do speedily
make Assignations upon the Hundreds next adjacent to
the Town of Plymouth, for the Pay of the Garison of
Plymouth, according to the Establishment: And that they
do take effectual Course, that the Forces under Sir Hardress Waller may be so provided for in other convenient
Places, that the Assignments for Plymouth may not be interrupted or anticipated, but duly paid in.
Berwick and Carlisle.
Ordered, That the Consideration of the Garisons of
Berwick and Carlisle be referred to the Committee at
Derby House: And that the Letters concerning those Garisons be referred to that Committee: And that likewise
the Letter from Yorkshire, of ultimo Octobris 1648, be
referred to the Consideration of this Committee: And that
they do make speedy Reports concerning those Garisons,
and other Matters referred.
Exceptions from Pardon;
The Question being put, That the Names of any more
Persons shall be presented to the King, to be excepted
from Pardon;

Message to Lords.
Ordered, That the Votes, passed Yesterday, upon the
Proposition touching Delinquents, be sent up to the Lords
for their Concurrence; to the Intent that the same, with
all the other Votes agreed on by both Houses, be forthwith sent to the Commissioners, into the Isle of Wight.
Mr. Annisley is to carry them to the Lords.
Answer.
Mr. Ashhurst brings Answer from the Lords, That,
as to the Horse Guards, and the Order for Payment of
Three thousand One hundred Fifty-five Pounds Fifteen
Shillings and Ten-pence to Mr. Alexander Norris, out of
the Receipts of Goldsmiths Hall, the Lords will send Answer by Messengers of their own: To the rest of the Particulars, by him carried to the Lords, the Lords do
agree.
Disbanding Forces.
Forasmuch as there is present Necessity for the Payment of Money for the Disbanding of the Forces of Lancashire; which will be a very great Charge, if they should
be longer continued: It is therefore Ordered, by the Commons assembled in Parliament, That the Sum of Three
thousand One hundred Fifty-five Pounds Fifteen Shillings
and Ten-pence, payable, in Course, to the Lord Willoughby of Parham, out of the Receipts of Goldsmiths
Hall, by Ordinance of the Fifth of March 1646, be paid
to Mr. Alexander Norris, of Boulton, or his Assigns, for
the Use of the Forces of Lancashire to be disbanded: And
a Receipt under the Hand of the said Alexander Norris
shall be a sufficient Discharge to the Treasurers at Goldsmiths Hall, for Payment thereof, accordingly.
