Sequestrations.
MR. Trenchard reports Amendments to the Bill
touching Sequestrations: Which were this Day
read the First and Second time; and the Debate thereupon adjourned till To-morrow Morning.
Parliaments and Elections.
Ordered, That the Committee concerning Succession of
Parliaments, and regulating the Elections, do make their
Report of their Proceedings therein on Wednesday next,
the first Business; nothing to intervene.
Probate of Wills.
Ordered, That the Act for the Probate of Wills be
read on Wednesday next, after the Report from the Committee concerning successive Parliaments, and regulating
Elections.
Northern Officers.
Ordered, That the Business of the Northern Officers,
and other Soldiers, be taken into Consideration, on Thisday-sevennight, the first Business; nothing to intervene:
And Mr. Speaker to put the House in mind thereof.
Naval Appointments.
Colonel Wauton reports an Act for authorising Colonel
Edward Popham, Colonel Robert Blake, and Colonel
Richard Deane, or any Two of them, to be General and
Admiral of the Fleet.
Which was read; and, upon the Question, passed.
Prize Goods:
Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of the
Navy, to consider of the Accompt of Captain Moulton,
touching Prize Goods by him disposed of: With Power
to allow or disallow the same; and to approve, discharge,
and make Payment, as they shall see Cause.
Christ Church Wood.
Colonel Wauton reports from the Council of State,
That Christ Church Wood in Kent is sold.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of the
Navy, to take care for buying the said Wood, called
Christ Church Wood, for the Use of the Navy; and to
make Payment for the same: And that, in the mean time,
the same Wood, or any Part of it, be not cut down.
Ordered, That the Trustees for Sale of Dean and
Chapter Lands be required not to proceed any further in
conveying the said Wood to any Purchaser: And that the
Committee of the Navy do confer with the said Trustees,
about the best Way how the same may be bought for the
Benefit of the State.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Navy be authorized and required forthwith to pay, unto Sir George
Aiscough, Five hundred Pounds, for his Pay, Charges,
and Expences, when he was Governor of Silley.
