Representation and Elections.
THE House was this Day, according to former Order, resolved into a Grand Committee, touching
the equal Representative, and regulating Elections.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Say took the Chair.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Say reports from the Grand Committee, touching
the equal Representative, That the said Committee have
adjourned themselves until This-day-sevennight; and that
they desire the House will give them Leave to sit then
accordingly.
The Question being propounded, That the House be
resolved into a Grand Committee, on Wednesday next,
touching the equal Representative, and regulating Elections;
And the Question being put, That that Question be
now put;
It passed with the Negative.
Resolved, That the House be resolved into a Grand
Committee, To-morrow Morning, touching the equal
Representative, and regulating Elections: And that Mr.
Speaker do then forbear to take the Chair.
Adjournment.
Resolved, That the House doth adjourn it.... till Tomorrow Morning, Eight of Clock.
The House adjourned itself until To-morrow Morning, Eight of Clock, accordingly.
