THOMAS Armstrong Esquire, and Jacob Regnier,
did this Day take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, in order to their Naturalization.
Earl of Clarendon's Impeachment.
Mr. Edward Seymour reports, that, according to the
Direction of the House, he had attended the Lords; and
delivered them the Impeachment against the Earl of Clarendon: And that the Lords had returned this Answer;
that they would take the Message into speedy Consideration; and send an Answer to it by Messengers of their own.
Trade with Scotland.
Sir John Knight having made Report to the House,
from the Committee appointed to consider of a Way for
settling and balancing of Trade between England and
Scotland; and the same being debated; and the House
finding it a Matter of great Weight and Difficulty;
Resolved, &c. That Wednesday and Friday Morning
every Week, from Ten of the Clock, be set apart for the
House to resolve into a Committee of the whole House,
to take into Consideration the general Balance of Trade;
and in particular, the settling the Balance of Trade between England and Scotland: And that the House do, for
that Purpose, resolve into a Committee of Trade, on
Friday next, at Ten of the Clock.
Privilege- A person discharged from Custody.
Ordered, That * *, Clerk of Woodmongers Company, be discharged of his Commitment to the Serjeant
at Arms, paying his Fees.
Charges against Pett.
A Report being made by Sir Robert Brookes, from the
Committee of Miscarriages, in reference to Commissioner
Pett;
Resolved, &c. That the Matter concerning Commissioner Pett be re-committed to the Committee appointed
to inquire after the Miscarriages of the late War; to hear
such Witnesses as shall be offered to them; and to expedite their Report.
And then the House adjourned till To-morrow
