SIMON Fransia, Son of George Fransia, born in
Malaga, in Spaine, did this Day take the Oaths of
Supremacy and Allegiance, in order to his Naturalization.
Weld's Debt.
Mr. Weld reports from the Committee, to which the
Bill of Sir John Weld, was committed, several Amendments, Clauses, and Provisoes, agreed to be made and
added to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence; and after delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the several Clauses and Amendments being Twice
read, and, upon the Question, severally agreed to;
Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed
to, be ingrossed.
Timber.
Some Merchants, and others, having delivered in Proposals to bring down the Price of Timber for the Advantage of the rebuilding of the City of London; and desiring
their Proposals, and Reasons for the same, may be heard
and examined;
Resolved, That it be referred to Lord Richardson, Colonel Birch, Sir Jo. Burkenhead, Sir Solomon Swale, Sir
Wm. Doyley, Mr. Crouch, Sir Wm. Lowther, Mr. Jolliffe,
Mr. Sandys, Sir John Shaw, Sir Richard Browne, Mr.
King, Sir John Frederick, Sir Jo. Moreton, Sir Anth. Irby,
Sir Clifford Clifton, Sir Cha. Harbord, Sir Rich. Braham,
Mr. Harbord, Mr. Hungerford, Sir James Thynn, Mr.
Westphaling, Sir Tho. Allen, Mr. Crooke, Mr. Jones, Mr.
Love, and all the Members of this House that serve for
the City of London, or any Port Towns; or any Five of
them: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Two of
the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to examine
the Proposals, and hear what Reasons can be offered for
the same; and to report the Matter, with their Opinion
therein, to the House: And to send for Persons, Papers,
and Records.
Leave of Absence.
Ordered, That Mr. Pepys have the Leave of this House
to go into the Country.
Ordered, That Sir John Moreton have Leave to go into
the Country for a Fortnight.
Defaulters to Call of the House.
Ordered, That Sir Wm. Oglander, having been and
still continuing very sick, be excused from his Fine of
Forty Pounds for not attending the Call of the House.
Exporting Wool from Ireland.
Ordered, That the Committee, to which the Petition of
Stringer was referred, and who are (inter al') to examine
and report the Matter touching the Exportation of Wool,
be revived; and do sit this Afternoon at Two of the
Clock; and Sir Cha. Wheeler, Col. Wanklyn, and Mr.
Kent, are added to the Committee: And the Committee
are also to examine, what inconveniences are by exporting Wool from Ireland; and report it to the House.
Increase of Timber.
Ordered, That the Bill for Increase of Timber be read
To-morrow Morning.
Privilege.
Serjeant Charleton reports from the Committee of Privileges, the Case, upon the Petition of Tho. Styles, formerly committed to the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms,
upon a supposed Breach of Privilege, for Distraining the
Cattle of Sir Henry Felton, a Member of this House; that
the Committee had examined the Matter, and heard the
Evidence on Behalf of the Petitioner (Sir Henry Felton,
nor any for him, attending): And the Committee, upon
Perusal of the Court Books of the Manor, of which the
Copyhold Tenement is held, from which the Cattle were
distrained for Non-payment of the Rent, is the Tenement of Tho. Felton Esquire, and not of Sir Henry Felton;
and that the Committee were of Opinion, that Tho. Styles
ought to be discharged of his Commitment.
Ordered, That this House doth agree with the Committee, that Tho. Styles be discharged from his Commitment to the Serjeant at Arms, paying his Fees.
Horton Inclosure.
Mr. Steward reports from the Committee, to which
the Bill for the Inclosing of certain Coppices, belonging
to the Manor of Horton in the County of Gloucester, for
the Preservation and Increase of Timber, several Amendments agreed to be made to the Bill: Which he read,
with the Coherence; and after delivered the same at the
Clerk's Table: And the several Amendments being twice
read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to;
Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed
to, be ingrossed.
Privilege.
Ordered, That Saturday Sevennight next be appointed
for the Committee of Privileges, to hear Sir Henry Felton,
by himself, or his Counsel, as to the Matter objected, in
charging Thomas Styles with the supposed Breach of Privilege, when no Person, that could claim Privilege, was
concerned: and Mr. Walgrave is desired to give Sir
Henry Felton notice.
Poll Tax.
Sir Charles Harbord, Mr. Spry, and Sir Humfrey Winch,
reports from the Committee appointed to inspect the Proceed of the Poll Bill, and for the Eleven Months Assessment, and how the Money arising thereby are expended,

The House resolved into a Committee of the whole
House, in order to the Consideration of the Motion made
for the Supply of the King's Majesty.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Seymour took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Seymour reports from the said Committee, That
the Committee had made some further Progress in the
Consideration of the Motion for his Majesty's Supply;
and humbly moved from the said Committee, that the
House would resolve into a Committee of the whole
House, again, To-morrow Morning, to take into further
Consideration the said Motion for his Majesty.
Resolved, That this House will resolve into a Committee of the whole House To-morrow Morning, Ten
of the Clock, to proceed in the Consideration of the
Motion for his Majesty's Supply.
Electing Members for Durbam.
Ordered, That Mr. Vaughan, Mr. Throckmorton, Sir
John Denham, be added to the Committee, to which the
Bill for electing Members to serve in Parliament for the
County of Durham, was committed.
