Privilege.
ORDERED, That the Matter of Privilege, between
Mr. Cornwallis and Mr. Digby, be heard by the
Committee of Privileges To-morrow Fortnight.
Employment of the Poor.
A Petition of the Gentlemen, Freeholders and Inhabitants of the Parish of St. Martin's in the Fields, and St.
Paul's Covent Garden, within the Liberty of the City of
Westminster, on the Behalf of themselves, and others,
their Neighbours, was read.
Resolved, &c. That the Petition be committed to the
same Committee to which the Petition of the Inhabitants
of the Parish of St. Giles's in the Fields, is committed; to
take this Petition into Consideration also; and to examine
the Matter complained of; and report it, with their Opinions therein, to the House: And the Committee is revived: And they are to sit To-morrow in the Afternoon
in the Speaker's Chamber; and to take both the Petitions
into Consideration; and make Report thereof, with their
Opinions, to the House: And that these Members following be added to the Committee; viz.
Lord Fanshaw, Mr. Seymour, Mr. Russell, Sir Thom.
Chichley, Mr. Roberts, Mr. Maynard, Sir John Tufton,
Mr. Palmes, Lord Gorge, Mr. Neal, Col. Titus, Mr.

Clifton's Estate.
An ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An
Act for the better Payment of the Debts of Sir Clifford
Clifton Knight, deceased, and raising Portions for his
Daughters, was read the Third time.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the
Title be, An Act for the better Payment of the Debts of
Sir Clifford Clifton Knight, deceased, and raising Portions
for his Daughters: And Mr. Seymour is to carry up the
Bill to the Lords.
Ogle's Estate.
A Bill on the Behalf of Thomas Ogle Esquire, Son of
Sir Thomas Ogle, and the Creditors of the said Sir Thomas
Ogle, was read the First time.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second time.
Rosse Vicarage.
An ingrossed Bill for uniting the Vicarage and Parsonage of Rosse, in the County of Hereford, was read the
Third time.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title
be, An Act for uniting the Vicarage and Parsonage of
Rosse, in the County of Hereford.
Measures and Prices of Coals.
An ingrossed Bill for Continuance of Two former Acts,
herein mentioned, relating to the settling the Prices of
Coals; and to prevent Delays in extending Statutes,
Judgments, and Recognizances; was read the Third
time.
And the Matter being debated, as to the Continuance
of the Act for settling Prices upon Coal; and the same
being not found convenient to be continued;
Resolved, &c. That what relates to the Act for settling
the Prices on Coal be struck out of the Bill; and the Bill
made cohere for confirming the other Act only:
Which was done at the Table.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the
Title be, An Act for Continuance of a former Act, intituled, An Act to prevent Delays in extending Statutes,
Judgments, and Recognizances.
Supply Bill; foreign Commodities.
A Bill for an Excise upon several foreign and other
Commodities therein mentioned, towards his Majesty's
Supply, was read.
Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time
To-morrow Sevennight.
Silk Weaving.
Ordered, That the Bill concerning the Company of
Weavers, be read To-morrow Morning.
Committee of Grievances.
The Question being put, That the Committee of Grievances do sit this Afternoon;
It passed in the Negative.
