Prayers.
Intestates Estates.
Mr. Crouch reports from the Committee, to whom
the Bill, sent down from the Lords, intituled, An
Act for the better settling of Intestates Estates, was committed, several Amendments to be made to the said Bill:
Which he read, in his Place; and afterwards, delivered
the same in at the Clerk's Table: Which being twice
read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed unto.
A Proviso, for continuing the Ordinary to grant Administrations cum Testamento annexo, was read the First,
Second, and Third time; and agreed to be made Part of
the Bill.
Ordered, That Mr. Attorney General Sir George
Downing, Mr. Att. Mountague, Mr. Coventry, Mr.
Vaughan, Sir Robert Carr, Mr. Waller, Sir Rich. Temple,
Sir John Birkenhead, Sir Phil. Warwicke, Sir Robert Howard, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Will. Coventry, Colonel Birch,
Mr. Milward, Sir Thomas Lee, Sir Thom. Meeres, Sir
Thom. Littleton, Sir. Edw. Deering, do manage the Conference, to be had with the Lords, upon the Bill of
Impositions.
Lords desire a Conference.
A Message from the Lords, by Sir Will. Beversham
and Sir Jo. Coell;
Mr. Speaker, The Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, that the Lords having received, from the
House of Commons, an Answer to the Message, sent to
them Yesterday; which Answer their Lordships conceive
so unparliamentary that they could not proceed in that
Conference; and desire a Conference, upon that Answer,
in the Painted Chamber, at Five of the Clock this Afternoon: At which time their Lordships will be sitting; and
desire, that the House of Commons will be sitting also.
The Messengers being withdrawn; and called in again;
Mr. Speaker acquaints them, that this House had considered of their Message; and did agree to the Lords to
the Conference, at Five of the Clock this Afternoon.
Intestates Estates.
The House then resumed the Debate upon the Bill
concerning Intestates Estates.
Ordered, That the further Debate thereof be adjourned
till the Afternoon.
Committees.
Ordered, That all Committees, that were to sit this
Afternoon, be adjourned.
And then the House adjourned till Three of the
Clock Afternoon.
Post Meridiem.
Duke of Yorke's Revenue.
THE Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act for
explaining a Proviso contained in an Act for settling the
Profits of the Post Office, and Power of granting Wine
Licences, on his Royal Highness the Duke of Yorke,
and the Heirs Males of his Body, was read the Third
time; and, upon the Question, passed.
Debtors Relief.
Ordered, That Sir Edw. Massey, Mr. Glascocke, Mr.
Milward, Mr. Roberts, be added to the Committee, to
which the Bill for Relief and Release of poor Prisoners,
is committed.
Howard's Estate.
Sir Solomon Swale reports from the Committee, to
whom the Bill to enable Charles Howard Esquire, and
Mary his Wife, to levy and suffer a Fine and Recovery,
was committed, some Alterations and Amendments to
be made to the said Bill: Which he read, in his Place;
and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table:
And the same being twice read, were, upon the Question,
severally agreed unto.
Resolved, &c. That the said Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

The House then resumed the Debate of the Bill concerning Intestates Estates.
And the Bill, Amendments, and Provisoes, were read a
Third time.

Cornwall Assizes.
The ingrossed Bill for holding the Summer Assizes for
the County of Cornwall at Bodmin, was read a Third time.

Conference-Foreign Commodities Bill.
Ordered, That the Members appointed to manage the
Conference upon the Bill of Impositions on foreign Commodities, be appointed Managers for the Conference to be
had with the Lords this Afternoon, at Five of the Clock.
The House then went up to attend the Conference
accordingly.
Sir Robert Howard reports, That they had attended the
Conference; and that * * * *.
Upon Debate of the Report of the Conference;
Resolved, &c. That a Conference be desired with the
Lords, upon the Subject Matter of the last Conference:
And that Sir Robert Carr do go up to the Lords to desire
a Conference.
