THE ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled,
An Act for confirming Agreements made between
Sir Ralph Bankes, Sir John Hanham Baronet, Ellis
Beethell, Thomas Mackrell, Richard Warland, and John
Edwards, by their Guardians and divers other Persons,
was read the Third time.
Resolved, &c. That this Bill do pass: And that the
Title be agreed.
General Nat. Bill.
Mr. Cheney reports, and delivers in a Bill of general
Naturalization: Which was read.

Chudleigh Rectory.
A Message from the Lords, by Sir John Coell and Sir
William Beversham;
Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you down a Bill,
intituled, An Act for the Settlement of the Rectory of
Chudleigh in the County of Devon, upon Thomas Lord
Clifford, and others: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
The said Bill was read a First time.

The Bill for enabling the King to make Leases of his

Recovery of Tythes.
A Bill for repair of Churches, and for enabling Vicars
to recover their Small Tythes, was read a First time.

Bellamy's Estate.
A Message from the Lords, by Sir John Coell, and Sir
Will. Beversham;
Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you down a Bill,
intituled, An Act for enabling Robert Bellamy, to sell
Lands for Payment of his Debts: To which they desire
the Concurrence of this House.
Preventing Growth of Popery.
The ingrossed Bill to prevent the Growth of Popery,
was read the Third time.
A Clause was tendered, and twice read: And, with
some Amendments made at the Table,
Being read the Third time;
Resolved, &c. That the said Clause be made Part of
the Bill.
The Word "May" was, upon the Question, agreed
to be inserted, instead of the Word "June."
Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments
agreed to, do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for
preventing Dangers which may happen by Popish Recusants: And that Sir Charles Harbord do carry up the
Bill to the Lords.
And then the House adjourned till Eight of the
Clock To-morrow Morning.
