Compton's Estate.
SIR John Malet reports from the Committee to whom
the Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Explanatory and Supplemental Act, for the better enabling Sir
Francis Compton to make Sale and dispose of the Manor
of Hamerton, or any Part thereof, in the County of Huntington, That the Committee had carefully perused the
Bill, and heard all Parties; and returned the Bill without any Amendment.
And the Bill was read the Third time.
Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title
be agreed to.
Hungerford's Estate.
Mr. Eyres reports from the Committee to whom the
Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Sir
Edward Hungerford Knight of the Bath to make Leases
for Years of Hungerford House in the Strand, in the Parish
of St. Martin's in the Fields in the County of Middlesex; and of certain Houses and Tenements thereunto adjoining.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the
Title be agreed to.
Yarmouth Pier.
Sir Charles Harbord reports from the Committee to
whom the Bill for repairing Yarmouth Pier, was committed, some Amendments agreed by the Committee:
Which he read in his Place; and afterwards, delivered
the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were
again read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.
Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed
to, be ingrossed.
Recovery of Tythes.
Sir John Talbot reports from the Committee, to whom
the Bill for the better Recovery of small Tythes, was
committed, some Amendments agreed by the Committee:
Which he read in his Place; and afterwards, delivered
the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were
again read; and, upon the Question, agreed.
Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be
ingrossed.
Children of English Subjects Nat.
Sir Tho. Meres reports from the Conference had with
the Lords, upon the Proviso sent up to the Bill which
came from the Lords, for naturalizing such Children
of his Majesty's Subjects, as were born beyond the Sea
during the time of the late Troubles, the Lords Reasons
for dissenting from the Proviso of this House.
The Question being put, To agree with the Lords in
rejecting the Proviso;

intituled, An Act for Impowering and Licensing of Protestant Strangers and Foreigners to exercise their Trades,
in the Places mentioned in this Act: And have commanded us to acquaint you, That they have agreed to
the Bill for settling of a Maintenance on the Vicar of
Alhallowes in Northampton, without any Amendment.
Duke of Norfolke.
Ordered, That the Report of the Address, concerning
the Duke of Norfolke, be heard To-morrow Morning.
Supply Bill; building Ships.
An ingrossed Bill for his Majesty's Supply for Building
Ships, was read the Third time.
And some Amendments being made at the Table;
Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title
be, An Act for raising the Sum of Five hundred Eightyfour thousand Nine hundred Seventy-eight Pounds Two
Shillings Two-pence Halfpeny, for the speedy Building
Thirty Ships of War: And that Sir John Trevor do
carry up the Bill to the Lords, for their Concurrence.
