Account, Why the Entry of Yesterday's Proceedings
is not finished.
Privilege- A Member expelled, being a Papist.
Whereas it appears to the House, That Sir Solomon
Swale is convicted of Popish Recusancy: And having
been divers times called upon by this House, for to
signify his Conformity to the Church of England; which
he hath not done, pursuant to a peremptory Order
of this House:
Ordered, That the said Sir Solomon Swale be discharged
from the Service of this House: And that Mr. Speaker
do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to
make out a new Writ, for the Electing of a Burgess to
serve in this present Parliament, for the Borough of
Albrough in the County of Yorke, in the Room of the
said Sir Solomon Swale.
Westbury Election.
Ordered, That the Report concerning the Election of
Westbury be heard on Friday next.
