Message to the Commons, concerning the Contract with the King touching Wardships, &c.
Message to the Lower House, by Mr. Baron Bromley,
Mr. Dr. Amye, and Sir George Coppin: videlicet,
That the Lords, having entered into Consideration of
the Causes of this Assembly, and finding this to be now
the Eighth Day of this Session, have thought good to
begin with the greatest and most weighty Matter now
depending in Deliberation; and, having called to Mind
where, and in what State, the Matter of the great Contract with His Majesty, concerning as well Tenures with
the Dependents, as of Purveyance and certain other
Things, was left at the breaking up of the last Session,
and doth now remain, do desire a Conference, by their
Committees, whom their Lordships do appoint to be in
Number Fifty, with a competent Number of Committees
of that House; which their Lordships do with may be
on Thursday next, in the Afternoon, at Two of the Clock,
in the Painted Chamber, if it may so stand with the
Conveniency of that House.

That the House of Commons have entered into Consideration of the Message, and will accordingly, by their
Committees, to the Number of One Hundred, give their
Lordships Meeting, at the Time and Place prefixed.

House, which are now in Town, and not this Day present, be specially warned and required from the House
to give their personal Attendance on Thursday Morning,
