Marbury & al. versus Torbuck & al.
Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Katherine
Marbury Spinster, Benjamine Woodroffe Doctor in Divinity and Mary his Wife, Gilbert Thacker Esquire and
Elizabeth his Wife, which said Katherine, Mary, and
Elizabeth, are the Sisters and Coheirs of William and
Richard Marbury, late of Marbury, in the County of
Chester, Esquire, deceased, from a Decree made in the
Court of Chancery, the Thirteenth Day of August One
Thousand Seven Hundred and One, on the Behalf of
George Torbuck, and the Creditors, Mortgagees, and the
Bond and Simple Contract Creditors, of the said William
Marbury; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the said George Torbuck
and the other Creditors of the said William Marbury
may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and
they are hereby required to put in their Answer or
respective Answers thereunto, in Writing, on Friday the

Thomas Hull and Penelope his Wife, Susannab Langhorne
Widow, and others; and praying "the Reversal and Dis

other Respondents, may answer thereunto:"

Upon reading the Petition of Scroop Lord Viscount
Howe of the Kingdom of Ireland; praying Leave to
bring in a Bill, to enable him to make a certain Provision
for his Daughters, not exceeding Four Thousand Pounds;
which he cannot do without the Aid of an Act of Parliament, his Eldest Son being an Infant:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner hath hereby

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That, for the future, no Private
Bill shall be read in this House, until printed Copies
thereof be left with the Clerk of the Parliaments, for the
Perusal of the Lords; and that One of the said Copies
shall be delivered to every Person as shall be concerned
in the said Bill, before the Meeting of the Committee
upon such Bill; and in Case of Infancy, to be delivered
to the Guardian, or next Relation of full Age not concerned in Interest, or in the passing the said Bill: And
that this Order be added to the Roll of Standing Orders,
and printed and published, to the End all Persons concerned may take Notice thereof.
