Lords take the Oaths.
The Lords following took the Oaths of Allegiance
and Supremacy, and the Oath of Abjuration,
and also made and subscribed the Declaration,
pursuant to the Statutes; (videlicet,)

Upon reading the Petition of Richard Neville Esquire,
and others, Executors, and Henry Grey, and Henry
Fane, Esquires, Residuary Legatees of the last Will
and Testament of the Right Honourable John late Lord
Lovelace, deceased, Appellants; to whose Petition of
Appeal, depending in this House, Sir Henry Johnson
Knight, and the Right Honourable Martha Baroness of
Wentworth his Wife, are Respondents; shewing, "That
the said Respondents having put in an Answer to the
Appeal, and consented to have the Matter heard, it
was, the Eight and Twentieth Day of March now
last past, ordered, "That Counsel for the said Creditors,
and for the said Respondents, upon the said Appeal
and Answer; and also Counsel for the Petitioners;
the said Executors and Legatees, as to Three Points
in the said Order mentioned; (videlicet,) the Five
Thousand Pounds and Interest, Three Thousand
Pounds and Interest, and Mr. Boyle's Mortgage Debt
and Interest, should be heard on Wednesday then next:"
That the said Cause was afterwards put off to further
Days; and on the Seventh of April last, this House
was pleased to order, "That Counsel should be heard
on the Second Monday of the then next Session of
Parliament;" and praying, "That this Cause, upon
the said several Matters of the said Order of the
Eight and Twentieth of March last past, may be
heard, on such Day as this House shall please to appoint:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear
the said Cause, as to the Three Points stated in the said
Order of the Eight and Twentieth of March last, on
Monday the First Day of December next, at Eleven a
Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the Petitioners are to
cause Notice to be given to the Respondents.
