This Day the Lords following took the Oaths of
Allegiance and Supremacy, and the Oath of Abjuration, and also made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes; (videlicet,)

Eldest Sons of Peers being present in the House.
The Earl of Rochester reported from the Lords Committees (appointed to prepare an Order, pursuant to the
Debate of this House, of the One and Twentieth
Instant, relating to the Sons of Peers being in this House
when sitting) the Order following.
Which was read, and agreed to by the House; (videlicet,)
"That, upon Consideration of the Order of the
Fifth of April One Thousand Seven Hundred and
Seven, and the Articles of Union, it is this Day Ordered, That the Eldest Sons of all the Peers, who
have a Right to sit and vote in this House, have the
same Rights and Privileges."
Col. Rice's Accompt of Debentures delivered.
The House being informed, "That Mr. Clayton, One
of the Commissioners appointed pursuant to the Act
for obliging John Rice to accompt for Debentures
granted to him in the last Session of Parliament, attended at the Door;" he was called in, and, at the Bar,
delivered a Report from the said Commissioners, relating to the said Accompt.
Agreed, that the said Report do lie on the Table, to
be perused by the Lords.
