PRAYERS.
Oliver et al. versus Attorney General, in Error.
Upon reading the Petition, as well of Francis Jones
(who, in Her Majesty's Attorney General's Name, is Defendant); as also of Jerome Oliver, John Besseleare, and William
Haynes, Plaintiffs in a Writ of Error brought into this
Honourable House, to reverse a Judgement given against
the Plaintiffs in Her Majesty's Court of Exchequer;
shewing, "That the Sixteenth Day of this Instant December is appointed for hearing the said Errors argued; and praying a further Time for the same:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the
Errors argued in this Case, on the Second Day of the
Sitting of this House after the Recess now at Hand.
Records in Offices, Committee to consider of the Method of keeping.
Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Method of keeping Records and Public Papers in
Offices, and what may be proper to remedy what
shall be found to be amiss; whose Lordships,
having considered thereof, and heard such Persons
concerning the same as they shall think fit, are
afterwards to report their Opinion, from Time to
Time, to the House; and the said Committee have
hereby Power to appoint a Sub-committee, to consider thereof, and inspect such Offices and Records
as they shall think fit; and report to the Grand
Committee; (videlicet,)

Appeals and Writs of Error, Time limited.
It is Declared and Agreed, That, after the Seventeenth
Day of this Instant December, this House will not receive any Petition of Appeal, or Writ of Error, from
any Decree or Judgement made or given in any the
Courts below, before this Session of Parliament.
