Farrer and others:
Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for
charging and continuing the Duties upon Malt, Mum,
Cyder, and Perry, for the Service of the Year One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Ten;" to which they
desire the Concurrence of this House.

Bp. St. Asaph to preach 30 Jan.
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Bishop
of St. Asaph be, and he is hereby, desired to preach
before this House, in the Abbey Church at Westminster,
on Monday the Thirtieth Day of January next.
Gee & Ux. versus E. of Jersey, Lewis, & al.
After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal
of Richard Gee Esquire and Phillippa his Wife, who
was the Executrix of Colonel John Beaumont, from a
Report and Orders of the Court of Exchequer, upon
arguing Exceptions and other Proceedings, the Tenth
of February One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight,
on the Behalf of Edwin Lewis Administrator of James
Pearse the Younger, the Right Honourable Edward
Earl of Jersey, and the Right Honourable Barbara
Countess of Jersey his Wife, William Blakeway Executor
of Elizabeth Pearse, who was Executrix of James
Pearse the Elder, deceased; and praying the said Report and Orders may be set aside and reversed: As also
upon the Answer of Edwin Lewis, the Right Honourable Edward Earl of Jersey, and the Right Honourable Barbara Countess of Jersey his Wife, and Wm.
Blakeway, Executor of Elizabeth Pearse Widow, deceased, put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what
was offered thereupon:
Judgement affirmed, with Costs.
It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual
and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said
Petition and Appeal of Richard Gee and his Wife
shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that
the Report of the Court of Exchequer and Orders
therein complained of shall be, and are hereby, affirmed:
And it is further Ordered, That the said Richard
Gee and his Wife shall pay, or cause to be paid, unto
the said Edwin Lewis, the Earl and Countess of Jersey,
and William Blakeway, the Sum of Twenty Pounds, for
their Costs in this House.
Hayward's Bill.

vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for
making effectual the Provisions intended by William
Hayward, late of Quedgley, in the County of Gloucester,
Esquire, deceased, for Payment of his Debts, and
providing Portions for his Younger Children."
Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill
be referred to a Committee of the whole House, on
Tuesday the Second Day of January next, at Eleven
a Clock in the Forenoon.
