L. Mansel takes the Oaths.
This Day Thomas Lord Mansel took the Oaths, and
made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and
subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the
Statutes; his Lordship having first delivered a Certificate
of his receiving the Sacrament, and his Witnesses sworn
and examined to the Truth thereof.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons,
by Mr. Wrightson and others:
With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of the
Estate of William Peirson Esquire, deceased, for Payment of an Incumbrance thereupon, and a Debt due
from the said William Peirson to Her Majesty, as he
was Collector of the Customs at Plymouth;" to which
they desire the Concurrence of this House.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons,
by Mr. Berners and others:
With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for repairing the
Highway between Highgate Gatebouse, in the County
of Middlesex, and Barnet Blockhouse, in the County
of Hertford;" to which they desire the Concurrence
of this House.
L. Say & Seal versus Lloyd, in Error:
After hearing Counsel, to argue the Errors assigned
upon the Writ of Error brought into this House the
Fourteenth Day of April last, from Her Majesty's Court
of Queen's Bench, wherein Judgement is entered for
Henry Lloyd Gentleman, against Laurence Lord Viscount Say and Seale and others; and due Consideration
of what was offered thereupon:
Judgement affirmed.
It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual
and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said
Judgement given in the said Court of Queen's Bench,
for the said Henry Lloyd, shall be, and is hereby, affirmed; and that the Record be remitted, to the End Execution may be had thereupon, as if no such Writ of
Error had been brought into this House.
The Tenor of which Judgement, to be affixed to
the Transcript of the Record to be remitted,
follows:
