better ascertaining and securing the Payments to be
made to Her Majesty, for Goods and Merchandizes
to be imported from The East Indies, and other Places
within the Limits of the Charter granted to the East
India Company."

Parliament assembled, That, To-morrow, this House
will take into Consideration the Protestation entered in

the more easy Recovery of small Gifts and Legacies

the appointing the Circuit Courts, in that Part of
Great Britain called Scotland, to be kept only Once

Partis versus Eglesham, in Error.
Whereas there is a Writ of Error depending in this
House, wherein Francis Partis is Plaintiff, and John
Eglesham Defendant; upon which Francis Partis hath
alligned Errors, and alledged Diminution, and prayed
a Certiorari:
It is this Day Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said
Francis Partis do sue out a Certiorari, and procure the
same to be returned to this House on or before Saturday
next.
