The Precedency of the Lord Mountjoy before the
Lord Fawconbridge and the Lord Lovelace, who were
created before him, is referred to the Committee for
Privileges, who are to hear both Sides, and report to
the House.
The Case is briefly thus:
"Sir Thomas Bellassise, created Baron Fawconbridge
of Yarom, 25 Maii 1627.
"Sir Richard Lovelace, created Baron Lovelace of
Hurley, 31 Maii 1627.
"Mountjoy Blount, created Baron Mountjoy of Thur.
5 Junii 1627, with an express Clause of Volumus
in his Patent, to have Locum et Præcedentiam præ
omnibus aliis Baronibus quibuscunque hujus Regni Nostri
Angliæ per Nos post vicesimum diem Maii jam ultimo
præteritum factis five creatis, aliquo, etc. in contrarium
