Preface
WITH the appearance of the twelfth volume containing the introduction, list of errata
and the cumulative index the section of the revised edition of John Le Neve's Fasti
Ecclesiae Anglicanae 1300-1541 has now been completed. In the course of the work
and particularly in the preparation of the index a number of errors and inconsistencies
in the previous volumes have naturally come to light. These have where noticed been
included in the list of errata.
Thanks are due from the Institute of Historical Research to many who have made
this work possible, particularly the owners of documents and books who have made
them accessible to the Editors, also the various scholars who have given much time and
trouble to answering questions and reading sections of the work.
